Application for future ministry approved

At the Free Church General Assembly on 18th May 2021, approval was given to an application by the congregation for a 5-year reviewable appointment.  This means that the congregation is now able to call a minister who can be with us for at least 5 years.

Retirement of Rev Rodger Crooks

​

Rodger Cooks preached on Sunday 25th April for the last time as our minister. He officially retired from the pastoral ministry on 30th April.  Rodger and Joan have not moved far away as Rodger has taken on the role of resident supply minister for the Free Church congregations in Lochgilphead and Tarbert for the next two years.

After the service the congregation presented them with a specially commissioned painting of Campbeltown by the Scottish landscape artist Jane MacRae.
